Why give to Easterseals Lonestar?

Your generosity helps Easterseals provide help, hope and answers to people living with autism and other disabilities and the family members. Easterseals Lonestar currently provides over 5,000 local children and adults with quality, person-centered services and support. Contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government grants assist in funding programs, ensuring that lack of financial resources does not exclude an individual from receiving services.

Autism Treatment Program

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is provided to children, ages 2-15 years, who have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Under the direct supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts, children learn skills through one-on-one instruction and group activities. The Autism Treatment Program is offered at our North Dallas and Fort Worth Centers. This program is partially funded by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

Greenleaf  NCC

In partnership with Austin ISD, Greenleaf NCC is offering a new transition school option for students who are 18 years old or older and have autism or related neurodivergent conditions, interests in creative arts and/or technology, and a desire to continue their education in the public school system through project-based learning in classroom and community settings

Child Development Program

Children of all abilities learn and grow together. Developmentally appropriate curricula, experiences, and activities lead to a successful transition into kindergarten. Our inclusive preschool program is a full replication of the Walden Early Childhood Center developed by Gail McGee, emphasizing engagement, language, and social skill development. The program includes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and kindergarten preparation. We accept children 6 weeks to 6 years of age at our North Dallas Center and Lakeway Austin Center.
